"The Canon of Mormonism: The Saga of How the LDS Scriptures Came To Be" explorers the great developmental adventure behind each of the standard works of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dr. Zollinger defines the concept of "canonization," clarifies God's "modus operandi" and validates each of the standard works as being established upon the "rock of Christ." In addition, Dr. Zollinger describes the origin of language development-both oral as well as written; various mediums upon which sacred script has been recorded; and the evolution from scrolls, codex to book form. Although intended as a primer, Dr. Zollinger also provides insight into early biblical manuscripts as well as tracing the history of the English Bible. He invites his readers to immerse themselves into the nectar of the Canon of Mormonism.
