The Call to Commitment

The Call to Commitment is the call to learn life's lessons from Jonah's journey, which includes the threefold facet of the good, bad, and indifferent. It is the call to discover the justification that can only be found in Jesus Christ. It is learning God's lesson of love that the Prophet Jonah learned the hard way. Learning that you can run, but you can't hide. It is learning from Jonah's cries out of the belly of hell. It is learning about real revival in Nineveh, and learning about mindset, motivation, and ministry. The key to understanding the Book of Jonah is first of all to realize that this four chapter Old Testament book is part of the canon of Scripture, and it shows not only Jonah's successes, but his worst failures.
