The Burning Conversation

This book was downloaded to me in 2014, as I was in a recovery time of a hectic workload. As I was resting one day, I actually saw a picture of the two men walking on the road to Emmaus, while Cleopas was desperate and kicking stones on the path home after the crucifixion of Jesus. He felt like his life had turned upside down and his hope was eradicated after Jesus died; maybe feeling that life as he knew it had no purpose or meaning...

Like so many of us on our very own paths, we tend to forget what amazing words Jesus has given us. When we have a calamity and realize our flesh will speak louder than our spirits; we then operate out of flesh because our spirits are weaker in most cases. Our very own lives are exhausted with the fortitude of troubles that can propel us into a humpy-dumpty mentality. Our faith can diminish quicker than quick-sand, without the help of our beloved Jesus and His words spoken in our hearts; we can lose our hope and desperation sinks into every crevice of us.
