The Buddha and the bum

Abba Ochan is an alcoholic, gambler and ex-inmate of a mental institution, a writer who is struggling to find his position in a society that he hates. He is a natural complainer, sensitive, with good sense of humor and talent in writing, everybody says that, but he is lost in his addictions and full of troubling habits. Drinking, gambling and trying to publish his work, he is struggling and moving downwards, even though his friend Roy is doing everything to help him. When one day he meets his old friend, a nice smart woman named Missy and they decide to get married, Abba will be in trouble again: The day of the wedding he has an accident in his house and instead of going and get married he is going to his.... enlightenment. Or not? Anyway, he is still able to meet his Buddha, play at horses, drink beer and complain about everything.....
