While creativity may seem like a leisure time luxury, it is actually the engine of cultural advancement. Innovations, from cave painting to the Internet, have been fueled by someone's ideas and follow through. While most of us won't create an historical cultural advancement, our own lives are advanced and enhanced with greater access to our unique personal core of creativity. Whether writing a novel or an op-ed for the local paper, crafting on Etsy or designing a building, creative acts require not just ideas but ingenuity, confidence and courage, the ability to dream and to do. The Bright Way helps readers cultivate all of the above. Author Diana Rowan, an extraordinarily talented child musician, suffered performance anxiety so severe that she gave up the music that was central to her life. During this difficult time, Diana worked in clinics and shelters helping people recover from physical and substance abuse. Witnessing how engagement in creativity almost miraculously empowered those in seemingly hopeless situations, Diana recommitted to her own art and worked to develop The Bright Way System. A simple yet profound program of inspiration plus action, designed for a lifetime of use, it zeroes in on what powers motivation and progress, finds joy in skill-building, and facilitates the courage to share one's creativity. Grounded in the belief that all people are naturally creative, that they must express their creativity to feel whole, and that everyone can learn how to do this, The Bright Way shows the way.
"Everything I teach is what relieved me from suffering performance anxiety and brought me back to my creative expression. This system can work for anyone. By knowing your true calling, by learning how to REALLY learn, and to practice your creativity as a sacred act, you become an alchemist manifesting your art and your brightest life." -- Diana Rowan
