The Bounty Hunter - The Legend Begins is the story of Peter "Spike" Davis, who leaves his parents' Missouri farm to find his fortune in the West.By happenchance, he stumbles upon the role of hunting men for the reward on their heads, and discovers he has a talent for tracking, capturing, or killing humans.He takes some of the reward money he has accumulated, and buys a small cattle ranch in Bent County, Colorado, only to find there are no cows as were promised.While the area lacked cattle, it provided wild mustangs in abundance. He turned to catching feral horses, saddle breaking them, and selling them to Army forts for remounts.
