Beskrivelse
This volume represents the three dissertations the author has written: Closeness Spaces: An Elementary Exploration of Generalized Metric Spaces and Ordered Fields Derived from Them, Dark Patterns and Cultural Context Study of Scripture: A Case Study in Craig Keener's Paul, Women, and Wives: Marriage and Women's Ministry in the Letters of St. Paul, and AI as an Arena for Magical Thinking Among Skeptics.
The author's signature contribution to the conversation concerns how to live vibrant human life in troubled technological times, not just criticizing social aspects of technology but exploring how we can best live as humans under such conditions. His works draw on the resources of Eastern Orthodox mystical theology.
These dissertations provide three different aspects of an orientation to "religion and science:" a work of the sciences without particular religious connotations, a work drawing on currents in the sciences to enlighten a question in theology, and a work drawing on theology to assess limitations to a project in the sciences.
