The play, and story, Birthday Boy, is set eighteen years after Bloody Sunday and tells the story of the birthday boy, Eamon, who does not want to march on the anniversary with his father whom he believes hates him. Family rows erupt when Eamon's father finds out about Eamon's older sister and the secret she's been hiding from him.
