The Biologist's Performance in the Prevention and Control of Ectoparasites

The present work focuses on the prevention and control of ectoparasites in domestic animals dogs and cats that currently make up a current family nucleus. This treatise presents, from a brief history of the approach of domestic animals to human coexistence to the need for zoonotic control. It also undertakes to detail the main ectoparasites and the importance of professional biologists in this context in research, intervention and control.
