The Bible and Spiritual Disciplines explores six pivotal components of classic Christian spirituality: Sabbath, intercessory prayer, fasting, stewardship, living into one's call, and accountability. Through these disciplines, readers may discover ways of living an intentional and fruitful spiritual life. Questions are provided at the end of each chapter for further reflection and discussion. Holly Whitcomb is an ordained United Church of Christ minister.
