When rejection is all you've known, love can be hard to accept.

Alex Davis knows there is no happy ever after for him and he's okay with that. He has his work, he has his brother, and he has the occasional hook up - and he never has to tell anyone about his past. When he meets Ben at a rock concert and agrees to go on a date with him, Alex assumes it will be just another casual hook up.
