The Arrival

There is nothing more that a Roman Centurion looks forward to than retirement to a beautiful villa overlooking the Great Sea. For Atticus, Cornelius Julianas, it is no different. However, called out of retirement forces his hand back to war, specifically the War of the Jews during the siege of 70 AD. His love for the Jews and the Jewish Messiah wages war with his loyalty to Rome and a burgeoning love for a lady in Hispania. Tension increases as he attempts to help a Jewish leader escape the city while leading an army against the Zealots.
