The Archetypes

Amanda Pennington has just buried her father, a renowned physician/scientist who specialized in genetics and biomedical cell engineering. With her longtime friend, Benjamin "Beans" Carter, Amanda discovers lab journals and notebooks in her father's mountainside laboratory that are disturbing. It turns out that she and Beans are what her father called archetypes- genetically altered and biomedically engineered human beings created in his lab. Ami and Beans struggle to unravel the web of lies Dr. Leonard Pennington wove as they discover who they really are and what it means for them and their future together. When someone sets out to murder them-will they live long enough to find the answers they seek?
