The Archer

Stan was a broken man until he met Cindy. He lost his wife in a motor vehicle accident. They met in the Spring while Stan gave her son archery lessons. It was not the most cordial of meetings but there was instant chemistry between them.

Cindy was drawn to him unlike any other. She felt safe in his presence and knew he would protect her and her son. Post-traumatic stress caused her to have episodes of anxiety attacks. She never knew what would jar a memory of the vicious attack she experienced. She feared he wouldn't be able to tolerate her flashbacks.

When Cindy's son went to work on her father's farm for the summer, they had time alone. Each day was theirs and theirs alone.

They would discover their sexuality and boundaries. Each would earn a greater and greater trust with one another, confirming they were meant to be together. Moments of unfettered love would further bond Stan and Cindy. Their feelings for each other would help heal the scars they carried. They would spend the summer of a lifetime together as man and woman. They would experience trials and tribulation and share a gift, "Summer's Love."
