Beskrivelse
Ted is a turtle without a shell. He doesn't want one. In fact, these days in turtle world, about half the turtles walk around without shells. Turtle world is pretty evenly divided between the Shells and Anti-Shells. Antishells build domes over their homes. Shells walk around with heavy shells on their backs. That's all fine and good until Ted Antishell's dome is attacked. The culprit seems obvious, but mysterious powers are at play. Before Ted can stop things from falling apart any further, he inexplicably and repeatedly morphs from a middle-aged turtle to a hatchling, and back again.
Toy sculptor Mike Leavitt's fourth novella, The Antishell Turtle Attack, is an absurdist parable inspired by many contemporary events. Underneath all of our shells, no matter their shape or size, is an amazing capacity for measuring danger in so many different ways, sometimes over the course of one day. Ted's way is his. Only he can find it. Join our turtle friend's strange journey to discovering peace with his way.
