Trouble is brewing on Farmer Felix's farm. The mice and the earthworms know it and are plotting a fix, but the problem is proving to be bigger than they are. Much bigger. Real diplomacy will be required to get the rats to join forces to face a common danger. After all, wasn't it their reckless behavior that put all of animalkind at risk? Miguel Bookmouse dreams of saving the day by calling an Animal Congress. Harold and Cassandra Mouse, Byron the Earthworm, and the Mouses' son Timothy are all eager to lend a hand (or paw, in some cases). But as history has a way of rewriting itself, the true hero of this tale (or tail) will be left to the reader's imagination.
