Along the way the author reminisces about various food and diet related topics. Also included are ideas for recipes including "breaking the rules" macaroni and cheese, jambalaya, and more. To accompany the foods of the day, the author often suggests activities to correspond with that day's letter ranging from active pursuits, useful tasks, and, her "favorite," all things sedentary.
