When Pat gets a new baby brother, she struggles with sharing her mother's attention. Angry and hurt, Pat makes a wish. Blue, a magical Groo, hears her wish and appears. Blue promises to grant her wish if she helps him rescue his missing Grandaroo. Pat agrees, and they go off on an adventure to rescue the missing Grandaroo.
