The Adventures of Lady Kitty the Shack Cat

This story is about the many adventures of a little fluffy, playful kitten who falls in love with the art, craft, and rhythm of Junkanoo. She becomes an inspiration to many because of her playfulness, energy and enthusiasm toward Junkanoo. She attends the annual Junkanoo parades and practices and is a delightful addition to the sights and sounds on display as she dances as if she was a human being on four legs. Kitty gains many friends in the shack and plays with the strings and crepe paper; often getting in the way when the Carvers and Builders were in the shack making preparations for upcoming parades. She is full of life and utter curiosity. These adventures are a great avenue for children who love the fun nature of cats, also for children who are interested in culture, art or craft to learn more about the Junkanoo Culture of The Bahamas.
