A true story about Buddy the Bloodhound who was saved by a rescue organization. His life does not start off well but takes a happy and exciting turn when he goes to live with the Wilkerson family.

Buddy quickly forms a loving bond with his new family - Momma, Daddy and his sister-dog Scout. Buddy loves the farm with all kinds of animals - cows, possums, raccoons, rabbits, skunks, armadillos, and porcupines, along with the animals he learns to stay away from - coyotes and feral hogs.

Life in the country offers Buddy many opportunities to experience new and exciting adventures.

Buddy sometimes finds himself in dangerous situations and, too often, humorous ones.
