Plumber Barry Blogs has wanted to be a magician ever since he was little, so when a talking cat teaches him to do Real Magic, he is delighted. If only the magic wouldn't keep going wrong!  Barry's wife Miranda is getting fed up with it all and Barry is almost ready to give up, when a competition is launched to find Britain's Best Magician. As the only person in Britain who can do Real Magic, Barry thinks he really ought to win. But will he? And what will Miranda think of it?
