The Accidental Boyfriend, Part II

Two people in love: Frank and Gwendolyn; and Gwendolyn and Frank. It is one thing when one loves the other, and the other doesn't love back. Yet when the splendid unity of two people's highest impeccable consummate culminates in love's shiniest repercussion: True Love-well that's just grand, isn't it? As a wise man once said: "You know when you are in love when you don't want to go to sleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams" (Dr. Seuss). But what a mismatch, some would say: Frank Holloway, a detective with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department in Southwest, Florida, always following down the straight and narrow, or so he would have people think; Gwendolyn Olmsted, a former Washington DC microbiologist, former Washington DC and US federal government, a lot of things, as time would unveil. And Gwendolyn's criminal record although infractionate and petite, compared to Sergeant Frank Harris Holloway, IV's, makes her look like an undesirable to him in his world of law abiding law enforcement. But sometimes, as unluck would have it, sometimes the tables are turned around. Criminality really can happen to anyone, can't it? And Frank and Gwendolyn will soon see just how true that rings.
