The Abiding Questions of Free Congregations

This book is a selection of essays and sermons from Meadville Lombard students, faculty and alumni/ae. From the Introduction: Unitarian Universalism is a questioning faith. Hence it is appropriate that the title of this second Meadville Lombard Reader is, The Abiding Questions of a Free Church, taken from Alice Blair Wesley's essay contribution of the same title. This attitude of a questioning faith captures well the tenor of the essays and sermons chosen for inclusion in this volume. The essays and sermons that follow were selected from a wealth of submissions from the Meadville Lombard community.
