Beskrivelse
Ten-part Agenda for Last Supper with Jesus is a book crafted for youth groups, Jesus lovers, church leaders, Bible study groups, and families eager for a deeper understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ. The author, understanding the unique needs of these groups, has filled this book with conceptual grayscale illustrations that will resonate with them and has included a study guide for their convenience.
The ten-part agenda of the Last Supper with Jesus describes:
(1) The Last Supper occurred in an Upper Room in Jerusalem.
(2) Jesus and His Disciples reclined rather than sat at the table.
(3) Jesus was intensely aware of these final hours with His Disciples.
(4) Jesus washed His Disciples' feet.
(5) Jesus revealed that He was going to be betrayed by Judas Iscariot.
(6) Jesus introduced the Disciples to the symbolic use of bread and wine at this first-ever Holy Communion.
(7) Jesus revealed they only had a short time left together before His death.
(8) Jesus told Peter, "You will deny me three times before the cock crows."
(9) The 12 Disciples tried to get Jesus to reveal which one of them was the greatest of the twelve.
(10) Jesus described in detail the Spiritual Warfare that the Disciples would face after His death and resurrection.
This book also covers details about King David's Remez hidden messages pointing to Christ, attributes and benefits of the Holy Spirit, the Disciples' mission trip from earlier in Jesus' ministry, Jesus' feeding of the 5000, Disciple Peter's eventual martyrdom in 64 AD, and the importance of responding like Jesus rather than allowing Satan to dominate.
Fifty percent (50%) of all book sales will be donated to Covenant House to "join the fight to end youth homelessness."
