Temporal Abstraction is a school of through that focuses on the understanding of time, and the effect time has on visual representation, as seen through canvas. This text presents this selection from the gallery collection. The works represented here encapsulate the philosophy of the gallery. That is, that time can be seen, condensed and painted onto canvas: Temporal Abstractionism. The Janus Collective is a group of artists who are united in their exploration of the nature of time: although they have different styles, experiences and perspectives, each artist seeks to understand time by working with their own various techniques. Carlos Adissi looks at timelines from the end, accepting the nature of reality, and working backwards in order to vividly capture the waves of time. Bruno DaVenzia separates himself from time by letting the physical world seep into his painting, by creating his own materials and center himself at the starting position. Nima Veiseh linearly layerizes every nuance of a moment and memory to create his works. He uses the physical nature of canvas - it's weight and it's layers of paint - to mimic the layers of memory. Connecting over the common theme of time, these artists create captivating and intricate paintings that reflect their unique relationships with time.
