"What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you...?" I Corinthians 6:19 (KJV).Not only is your individual body the temple of the Holy Ghost but you collectively, the church, are the temple of the Holy Ghost. God gave the construction of the human body as a picture of the body of Christ. "And he gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ," Ephesians 4:11 (KJV). Each part of the body of Christ, "built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets" when "fitly framed together" grows into the holy temple of the Lord to be a "habitation of God through the Spirit" (Ephesians 2:20-22).This book is for individuals who are struggling to understand their role in the Body of Christ.
