The scene is a small bar in one of the many back streets of the city. This neighborhood bar was one with a history in the

neighborhood. It came into being in the eighteen hundreds by the Poindexter Family and had been handed down to the

oldest son ever since.

Currently it is owned and operated by Tom, the oldest son in the family owning the bar at this current time. He had worked at the bar from the first day he was able to legally enter and work there. He started as a dish washer in the kitchen at eighteen and then moved to the bar when he turned twenty-one.

He had been working the bar now for twenty years and had developed a strong clientele who frequented the bar over the course of a week. When working this type of job, you learn to be a conversationalist. The ability to relate with people results in more sales and that was good for the bottom line.
