Beskrivelse
This book highlights the issues of monitoring and management of the conditions necessary for the proper operation of modern systems of engineering protection of water resources. The ways to improve the economic efficiency of the environmental programs and integrated approaches to the creation of all-encompassing policies for the use of natural resources are discussed in this monograph, alongside with a new model describing technogenic disasters that have been created to determine the trajectory of the flow of oil and oil products spilled in the rivers and their penetration into the soil. New highly effective methods to protect the hydraulic resources and environment against ecological damage and their economic evaluation are proposed. Innovative hydro technical anti-mudflow structures designed to protect the ski jump structures are presented. Innovations are achieved by reducing the force of dynamic impact on them, simplifying existing structures and reducing the costs. Emphasis is placed on the new methodology of technical and economic calculation of innovative hydraulic structures and their economic effect. The monograph addresses the pollution of water resources with the biogenic elements that affect the condition of water bodies, as well as nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. Information about the quality of wastewater arriving at treatment plants, as well as the concentration of biogenic elements in the treated wastewater is given. The methods to remove biogenic elements are divided into two main groups: physical-chemical and biological. A detailed description of the processes occurring in wastewaters is given. for the biological methods. This monograph describes the reliable and sustainable methods actively used today.
