Tears for Lady Gwendolyn

In book 2 of The Clan of the Crescent Moon series, Jarrod finds out that being a Traveler rather than human has its drawbacks. A flu spreading through his classmates makes his knack, the ability to teleport to an alternate universe, go crazy. As he is explaining to Granny that he can no longer hear the music of the world, he loses control and ends up in Old Baltimore. The Stargazers are just starting to figure out how Jarrod can regain control of his ability when Granny, who is now sick herself decides to take him to visit his mom.
