What happens when the prince falls in love with the girl that is cursed without the ability to love? 



Atlea Einar, fighting for her life in the uninhabitable town of Pobery, lands herself a curse for rejecting and standing up to the demigod heir to the throne, Ajax. Hoping to overthrow his sinful older brother and take a chance of restoring the kingdom of Wyspa, Kadlan gets cursed and banished into a mortal life in Atleas' town. Discovering that a life and death situation arises, Atlea and Kadlan gather a team together in order to stop Ajax from becoming king and driving their beloved kingdom into ruin. During their adventure, secrets from the past along with each other, forbidden romantic tension, and heart-wrenching losses, throws the plan off track.
