After the shocking DNA results that Victory, Lace, and Arley received, Victory is heartbroken but not as much as Lace. In such short amount of time, Victory realizes that she has caused Lace so much pain that he did not deserve, and she is open to him moving on if that makes him feel better. Leaving Arley enough room to get in her good graces and win her over. With the results revealing that Arley's her baby's father, he feels that it's only right to work on him and Victory for the sake of their baby and he's strongly supported by his mother Ms. Ambie.

Lace still tries his best to understand and love Victory through it all, but Arley's presence shoots his pride down and leads him to doing something that he could never take back.

With Arley being a kingpin that Victory wasn't aware of, he steps in and calls shots that shut Max and his auntie's operation completely down.

Max is still unphased by Victory's siblings and protection that her baby's father has over her which causes a huge war between his auntie and Arley. Arley thought he was being a huge help to Victory, but he only made her life worse.

In the Finale of the Taste It series, brokenness and unhappiness prevails before peace and understanding. The new life that Victory tried hard to live was simply impossible and in Part 3 she finally accepts that.
