Beskrivelse
Learning idioms has long been a major concern of many learners of English across the world. Idioms are desirable because they add flavour and beauty to language and make learners sound more like native speakers. At the same time, learning idioms is also challenging because their use is both context-bound and culture-bound. Several attempts have been made to facilitate foreign language learners' learning of English idioms. In this book, the role of task focus and task involvement load on learning English idioms has been investigated. This book can be useful for teachers of English, developers of materials for language teaching as well as those who are interested in learning English idioms.
