Tara and her Mom are planning a trip to visit Aunt Carol, and are going to take a train to get there. Readers learn about planning, packing, and taking trains to get to where they need to go. Books of the Neighborhood Readers Program build early literacy skills, introduce important content-area language, and help develop speaking and writing skills. They can be integrated into any existing language arts or core reading programs.
