Beskrivelse
The Tao Te Ching, a Chinese classic, is about 2500 years old and consists of just eighty-one poems or chapters. It is so profound, it might be possible to write an entire book about only one of the poems in this book. In fact, the Tao Te Ching has been translated more than any other book other than the Bible. In 1988, Robert M. Jankel, the interpreter, began writing "Tao Te Ching, An Intuitive Interpretation." What makes this book unique is that there are two interpretations side by side. One group of poems is somewhat literal and the other group is more liberal or expansive. The third version is a visual interpretation. The advantage in having three versions is that the reader can compare the written interpretations and "feel" or "sense" the visual pieces. This enables the reader to come to comprehensive conclusions as to what the book is saying.
