The Tao Tantric Yoga is the response to people wanting to know more about the tantric and yogic paths. It is for the tens of thousands working on themselves. Appealing to women and men wishing for more knowledge about sexuality, retaining sexual energy, the secrets of the feminine, making love better. Maybe you want to know tantra in a deeply experiential way. Maybe you are longing for love - the real love, or maybe you have grown so comfortable with your relationship that you are now wondering how to be as free as you used to be, or how to approach the topic of opening your relationship. The book offers ways in which we can work on ourselves and know ourselves so well that with practice, your life will change. Evolution is happening now, we can become people with wisdom and compassion, communicating well, asking for what we want, and understanding that life is what we are creating for ourselves in each moment The number of people who practice yoga and meditation has grown immensely. While yoga itself is 6,000 years old, it was re-popularized several times and now millions of people are partaking in practices of all sorts. Tantric yoga awakens us to a deeper understanding of our bodies, and also how the body is connected to the expression of the emotions and all we perceive about life. Osho Rajneesh, the enlightened spiritual leader known for his radical approach to awareness and also tantra - has been influential in alternative worlds through his open approach with his disciples. Let us hope that through meditation, we all become masters of ourselves. Osho spoke about tantra and its spiritual relationship to sex, likely a few years too soon, but now the world is more ready, continuing to misinterpret and fumble less. Growing pains in tantric practices are highlighted in communities like Koh Phagnan where tourists abound (looking for sex but may not be ready to admit it) tantra teachers are born too quickly and many 'scandals' happen due to karma, desire unfulfilled, lack of communication or differences in perspective. There is more authentic curiosity than ever before from those wanting peak experiences in life to happen. People come to Koh Phagnan for this rush and abudance of everthing pleasureable. I came eight years ago already a tantra teacher, simply glad that people were open to learning it, and stayed to make it my home base for which to write about authenticity on the spiritual path. My own personal stories are interwoven in the book to exemplify lessons and experiences from the perspective of women. The Tao of Tantric Yoga explains how body and mind are necessary for the awareness of healing, which includes sexual healing, where most of us carry the most wounding and fear. Once healing has taken place, pleasure can occur, and once pleasure is experienced, there is no end to the heightened states possible through ritualizing sacred practices either with yourself or another, or simply by practicing and experimenting with consciousness and meditation. There are many ways to do this, some are described, step by step so that you the reader can try them in their life. The book is also an exploration what makes certain types of communities be sustainable through their choice in spiritual practices, also in their choice of how to deal with conflicts that arise in interpersonal relationships where sexuality is involved. These communities include bodily health, meditation, communication and conscious care of others via the truth. Behind all practices may be the doorway to how we live now, in a radically shifting paradigm that includes a look at how COVID has and is affecting us and how we relate and care globally.
