Tales of Palleera

If there is one thing I've discovered to be the immutable salient truth, it's this; every world (and yes, I know there are many worlds beyond this wretched cesspit) has and needs its dystopia.

So says Palleera, a mysterious masked virago who has dwelled in the Blighted Lands for the majority of her often tragic, solitary existence. There, she has come to embrace the role of protector of the disenfranchised...a savage defender of the ill-fitting pieces who could find no peace or place in the nations of the Antiquated World; those who came to the barren, frozen wastes seeking sanctuary and an escape from remorseless judgment. When the most illicit commodity in the known world...one that could literally demolish the very hierarchy of power that has governed the world since time out of mind...makes its way into the Blighted Lands, Palleera realizes the her bleak dystopian sanctuary stands on the verge of absolute obliteration.

Even as she sets forth to recover this scourge and return it to its rightful owners, there arises a new menace that threatens to reduce the entire Antiquated World to lightless enclave of slaves and deranged zealots, raising a realm of despair that would make the Blighted Lands seem like a veritable paradise by comparison. Thus unfolds the Tales of Palleera, the final volume of the Journey through the Lands of Shades epic fantasy series.
