Tales from the Silver State is an anthology of short fiction featuring some of the most talented authors from Southern Nevada. Beyond the glamour, glitz and glitter of the neon metropolis that is Las Vegas lies a thriving community that many established and emerging writers call home. Within that community lies a phenomenon known as the Las Vegas Writers Group. It was the vision of Jay MacLarty, author of a series of thrillers published by Simon & Shuster. Jay envisioned a place where writers could come together to learn from one another and support each other as they practiced their craft. Many writers have passed through this group on their way to finding success as authors. Several of them have been invited to celebrate Jay's legacy by sharing the stories you will find in these pages. These are their tales.
