Tai is the leader of a clan of assassins- the Black Dawn- which defends the Rainbow, humanity's last refuge, against the infiltrating totalitarian forces of the Black Dragon Dynasty; which commandeered command of the US military. These Dragons initiated monstrous ethnic cleansing by damaging infrastructure, polluting land, air, and sky with radiation and toxins, unleashing government weather machines, and turning arms against the unarmed. Murder is policy. Mercenaries are paid to attack women and children. The Black Dawn fight with no concern for their lives. 9 years earlier, young Bishop and his family live in Dragon occupied South Dakota. His uncontrollably abusive father, Chester, is called away from the front lines one day after Bishop defeats a bully at school. Chester- fearing the repercussions of his ways- proceeds to assemble a traveling party, kidnap his family, and defect from Babylon to the Rainbow tribe where they live more or less comfortably until it becomes clear who the real enemy is; because wherever you go, you bring yourself with you. Bishop and his family are blessed with their own personal tyrant; Chester is his name. Only martial arts will protect them. It's a Kung-Fu holocaust extravaganza
