Considerable progress has been made in recent years in the field of anti-HIV drug development. A large number of structurally different Coumarins have been found to demonstrate potent anti-HIV activity. The current research article demonstrates the variety of synthetic Coumarins with a specific mechanism of action that corresponds to the various steps of HIV replication.
