Swimming with Royalty

Mermaids or marine people, call them what you will. Are they fact, fiction or just the stuff of daydreams? Where do they really come from and why are they out there at all? They have escaped a cataclysmic event in their own world and sought homes everywhere in the stars where they could find habitable places to exist. They have been hunted on Earth for centuries and one in particular found a sequestered tank at Area 51 to call home -- but would this be her fate? Could her kind find their way home?
