The Sweete Family is back and headed to their ranch retreat! The Sweete family is holding a Fourth of July celebration at their illustrious 800-acre ranch just outside Austin, Texas. On the guest list are family members and business associates, including Libby Brennan, the blog girl of The Hill Country Buzz, the "stalky blogger" that Chad Sweete often complains about. Libby feels somewhat differently about Chad. She has had a major crush on him for a long time. Neither has ever met the other until their paths collide at the ranch. On the first day of the event, Chad is racing his beloved horse, Rembrandt, when he nearly crashes head-on with Libby and she is injured. When he realizes who Libby is, he is shocked. Despite his complaints about Libby, the potential seriousness of the accident has Chad's nerves on edge. Concerned about her recovery, swimming in guilt, and drawn to her authentic personality, Chad barely leaves Libby's side. Chad and Libby discover that they have a deep connection, but when Chad's ex-girlfriend, Jolene, intercedes, she creates trouble between them. Libby's brother, Farrell Brennan, arrives to check on his sister and finds himself intrigued with Chad's sister, Melissa. Love, connection, and turmoil swirls around the Sweete and Brennan siblings.
