Swamp House Mouse

Swamp House Mouse is the story of a mouse who looks for a place to live. He finds a home and settles into a cabin built on stilts in a Vermont swamp. This was also a special family picnic place. At the age of 90, Clarissa LaClaire wrote this book to help a great-granddaughter's struggle learning to read. Her great-granddaughter Erin Ricker created the illustrations with other great-grandchildren helping to color them.
