Strategies Against Architectures collects recent works by German painter Sven Dr hl (born 1968). There is more to his meticulous and reductive landscapes and architectural scenes than initially meets the eye; they are drawn not from life but are interpretations of works by artists from Caspar David Friedrich to Ed Ruscha.
