The aim of the volume is to identify factors affecting banks staff performance. This should result in banks improving the performance of their managers and staff and to ensure providing quality services to their customers and to achieve sustainable growth in this modern era of globalisation and a turbulent business environment. An implementation of performance management 'good practice' model was also examined and a new model was provided to explain issues related to service sectors in general and the banking sector in particular. The factors like performance appraisal and monetary rewards were also examined in the light of staff performance. This is to help banks and business organisations to develop the performance of their local and expatriate workforce, to ensure providing quality services to their customers.
