Beskrivelse
"Had the Pulwama terrorist attack been confined to the martyrdom of the Indian CRPF martyrs, then there was no point for me to pen this novel 'Surgical Strike'. But when the flames of terror are intense to swallow the social and democratic fabric of the nation by taking oxygen from politics, it forces the protagonist Aajivak Babu for surgical strikes on different fronts to expose it. He collides against the culture of becoming a responsible citizen, a sheep, mindless crowd, an instrument to be exploited and ultimately, a product 'For Sale' in this era of market economy.
When a large gathering of men turn into robots with the remote control in the hands of radical forces...communal forces become unbridled...the constitutional Institutions reach on ventilator for life support...media plays as an auctioned player of 'Indian Media Premier league' for opportunism...under the umbrella of existing political spectrum, what types of colors of a sensitive and common man's life can have? ...what kind of Valentine's Day he can enjoy? ...My novel 'Surgical Strike' is a mirror of the accomplishment of these empty-spaces and the life line of the novel as well."
