In Ben's world, the pandemic never ended. All he has been doing for the last 3+ years is sitting on the couch watching social media and drinking. One day a friend informs him that his ex-girlfriend has ended her life. When Ben goes to her funeral something unexplained happens to him. At work the company that he works for enters into a partnership with a new social media platform that Ben finds troubling. Ben must fix himself, understand and deal with his ex-girlfriend's suicide, and stop this new company from going public, all with the help of a new ability that Ben finds himself burdened with.
