Sumner Island

History professor Mitchell Lambert recently wrote a biography about the beautiful heiress, Maria Boudreau, who was murdered in 1924 on Sumner Island off the coast of Maine. While researching Maria's life, Mitch became inexplicably obsessed with her, and even the passage of time hasn't dulled his infatuation. Now, a seance has been scheduled at the posh Smythe Hotel where Maria died, and Mitch is desperate to attend in hopes he can learn the truth behind Maria's murder -- and his connection to her.
