Success in Life

SUCCESS IN LIFE is designed to sensitize its readers to what it takes to be successful in any one endeavor and in life generally. The author's reasoning is that success is an end-result. It is like the fruit that comes on top of a well-nurtured fruit tree. He says that success does not look for people, people must look for it. Plus, it cannot come out of a mere wish; the most powerful imagination that is not acted upon will not produce it. It is a product that comes out of a process. In one statement, the book is intended to motivate people to do everything they can to attain the very best of what they can be. It coaches and guides a reader to that effect. The book (18,000 words long) defines success and tells you the difference between successes in particular areas of life, which the author has termed "Micro successes" and comprehensive success, which he has termed "Macro success." It is the comprehensive or macro success that the book portrays as success in life. In addition, it suggests some qualities people should consider as requisites for success in life, and others which should be shunned as hindrances to it. The REQUISITES are: Faith in God, confidence, godliness, determination, optimism, diligence, planning, ability, focus, perseverance, patience, endurance, discipline, wisdom, etc. HINDRANCES are: weird lifestyle, recklessness, addictions, bad mannerisms, wickedness, laziness, pessimism, procrastination, fear, worry, folly, superstition, indiscipline, etc. The book helps the reader understand what truly makes for a successful and meaningful life.
