Stumbling Down the Shamanic Path relates how a spiritual skeptic became a questioner, a meditator who avoided gurus, an explorer of earth energies, and then met the teacher who discerned the shaman sleeping in the spirit of a middle-aged alpinist. That was only the beginning, for pursuit of this new tack offered a new set of hurdles. After years of bumpy roads, Michele Burdet is today a practitioner of ancient shamanic arts such as soul retrieval and is teaching apprentices to carry on the torch of what she likes to call "prehistoric psychotherapy."
