In most African countries, land tenure security remains a concern. And for good reason, social peace as well as economic and social development depend on the legal security of land. In Côte d'Ivoire, despite the passage of Law No. 98-750 of December 23, 1998 on the Rural Land Domain, whose stated objective is the certification of all rural land, the situation has not changed much. In recent years, some reflections have been made in Côte d'Ivoire to reflect the current problem on the CFR in order to understand the real problem that prevents farmers from going for the certification of the land they exploit. In spite of these attempts at action, the problem persists and deserves other scientific orientations. Therefore, for this work, which is based on the certification of rural land, we will investigate in the Akoupé area, more precisely in the village of Bacon, in order to analyze the factors that explain the non-appropriation of CF by the farmers of Bacon within a modern framework.
